– Considerado el mejor campeonato mundial del ramo físico

Luego de una competencia en Tampa, Estados Unidos (EU), la zamorana Diana Verduzco logró su pase directo al Mr. Olympia a celebrar en diciembre en Las Vegas, Nevada, EU. Se trata de la primera mexicana que participará en este campeonato mundial, considerado el mejor de su ramo a nivel internacional.
Diana Verduzco se enfrentará en este torneo mundial con 27 participantes de Brasil, EU, España, Puerto Rico, Chile, Colombia, Portugal y otros más que rondan entre los 22 y 50 años en la modalidad de Bikini.
La zamorana reveló que en este campeonato califican mentalidad positiva, proyección, “donde en 60 segundos debemos mostrar de que estamos hechas, solamente a través de poses, gestos, movimientos, sonrisa. Los jueces especialistas en lenguaje corporal y en el ramo. Más que la belleza, califican la inteligencia».
Diana expresó, «nunca los sueños son suficientemente grandes, todos son posibles. Si tus sueños no te asustan y no te dan miedo, es que les falta un poco de grandeza, porque no hay nada imposible. Lo que nuestro corazón manda y quiere, lo podemos lograr. Cuando algo se hace con pasión no se convierte en un trabajo, se convierte en tu motor de vida».
Dijo sentirse orgullosa de su municipio, estado y país, «en Zamora han surgido grandes mentes y atletas, que el mundo se entere de que estamos hechos los mexicanos: pasión, amor compromiso y sobre todo cuidando la salud. Es hora de poner en alto a México».
Agregó, «el miedo siempre está, pero da más miedo no intentarlo. Yo siempre voy por más, pero con el corazón humilde, nunca sintiéndome más que otra atleta u otro ser humano, porque todos somos iguales, pero con diferentes propósitos».
Añadió, «mi carrera deportiva ha sido muy rápida, comparado con los años que sé que les cuesta a otros atletas, a mi Dios me ha bendecido siempre porque me ha mantenido en los primeros lugares, pero también sé que ha sido la dedicación, pasión y amor que le pongo a cada uno de mis entrenamientos».
Dijo que en un principio lo que la motivó a incursionar en este deporte fue un complejo que tuvo de niña, «era muy delgada, entonces comencé a asistir al gimnasio, se volvió mi mayor pasión, disciplina y fue lo que hizo amarme y aceptarme y base a ello fue que decidí que quería tomar este rumbo. Durante muchos años este deporte fue visto mal en las mujeres, pero afortunadamente se ha cambiado esa percepción».
Mariano Verduzco, padre de la talentosa deportista, expresó, «hablar de Diana es todo un tema, gracias a ella fundamos un gimnasio ubicado sobre la Calzada Zamora- Jacona. El edificio iba a ser un hotel en su idea original, pero debido al tesón de Diana, optamos por dar ese giro».
Dijo que, por tratarse de un deporte que implica ciertos riesgos, les preocupa su hija, «la he tratado de frenar, pero ella tiene un gran tesón, tiene una mentalidad muy fuerte. Es una joven que se sube a los hombros del gigante: tiene una visión muy amplia, siempre enfoca sus objetivos y los cristaliza. Me siento orgulloso de ella».
Por su parte Rocío Carreño, madre de la atleta, mencionó «mi hija está convencida que, a través del deporte, se puede tener una mente positiva y clara; para ella no hay límites, todo lo que se propone, lo logra».
Diana ha sido ganadora de primeros lugares en diversos campeonatos del fisicoconstructivismo y fitness a nivel estatal, nacional e internacional, más de 20, en los que ha participado y dejado su alma para demostrar que está dentro de las mejores.
Entre estos Bikini en el 2016, Wellness en 2018; primer lugar como profesional en Canadá y su pase al world championship quedando en séptimo lugar a nivel mundial. Posteriormente su primera competencia en la NPC fue la de Arnold Classic, obteniendo el cuarto lugar en el 2020. Además, consiguió un PRO CARD en la FBB PRO-LEAGUE en Polonia.
