-Destinaron más de 9 mdp en la arteria; generará nueva cultura vial

Con una inversión de 9 millones 254 mil 687 pesos fue inaugurado el reencarpetamiento en la Avenida 5 de Mayo, del tramo de Virrey de Almanza hasta Avenida Juárez. El propósito es mejorar una de las principales vías de comunicación del primer cuadro de la ciudad y también generar un cambio en las personas vía la cultura vial.
El presidente municipal de Zamora, Carlos Soto Delgado, informó que la arteria significa uno de los pasos más importantes que hay en el municipio y de allí que los trabajos hechos con la calidad requerida, vendrán a cambiar la imagen del primer cuadro de la ciudad porque durante más de 20 años no se había dado mantenimiento en este punto de la ciudad.
En lo referente al nuevo balizamiento de la calle, informó que se busca generar una nueva cultura vial porque son cambios necesarios y se pretende que los ciclistas también tengan su espacio para circular por las ciclovías que fueron colocadas en los costados de la arteria.
“Será cuestión de que todos los que estamos involucrados en el proyecto vial participemos y hagamos un cambio en la educación vial y de allí que diferentes dependencias participarán, porque queremos que la 5 de Mayo sea fluida, que el transporte público se organice y que de esa manera se haga valer lo que balizamos en la zona», dijo.
Por su parte, José Luis Ramírez Victoria, presidente de la unión de transportistas del Valle de Zamora, agregó que ya comenzaron con la etapa de educación con los operadores que tendrán que respetar la ciclovía y usar el carril exclusivo para transporte, porque las paradas pegadas a la banqueta y asentadas en la zona serán suprimidas.
