-Ayuntamiento establecerá contacto con propietario para transformarla en centro cultural

Buscarán recuperar la casa donde pernoctó Miguel Hidalgo durante su paso por Zamora. El inmueble que se encuentra situado en la calle que lleva el nombre del iniciador del movimiento de independencia actualmente se encuentra en abandono y la intención es que tenga vida para que no se pierda en la memoria de la población.
Cuauhtémoc Ventura Orozco, director de turismo, informó que a la iniciativa se sumó la Regiduría de Educación, Cultura y Turismo, porque además de generar turismo con el rescate del espacio, se considera que la casona pueda ser un centro cultural en esta localidad.
Indicó que se pondrán en contacto con el propietario del inmueble con el propósito de transformar el lugar en un espacio donde se puedan realizar eventos turísticos, culturales y educativos, ya que se requiere que las actuales y futuras generaciones aprendan sobre la historia de México para tener firmes sus raíces.
Comentó que Zamora requiere de ese elemento adicional para complementar los recorridos turísticos que se pueden realizar en un momento determinado y rescatar aquellos lugares que tienen una gran historia que contar para toda la gente que llega de visita al municipio.
Concluyó al decir que para noviembre se considera incluso la posibilidad de hacer un evento conmemorativo cuando se cumple un aniversario más de la visita de Miguel Hidalgo a la ciudad de Zamora. Lo ideal es que se pueda efectuar en la casona y que de esa manera que comience a dar vida a un espacio necesario para cultivar y fomentar los valores patrios.
