– Gracias a exitosos programas en dicho rubro que impactan positivamente en la población

En mayo del año 2023, Chilchota recibirá la certificación como un municipio promotor de la salud por parte de la Secretaria de Salud (SSM), a través de la jurisdicción sanitaria, con lo que serán reconocidos en hacer las cosas bien en ese tema y tener coordinación favorable con las instituciones del rubro para realizar con éxito diversos programas que impacten positivamente a la población.
Así lo dio a conocer Karen Álvarez Tarelo, directora de salud de Chilchota, entrevistada en Zamora, detalló que ya están en proceso para poder obtener dicha certificación para lo cual redoblan esfuerzos en el primer nivel, es decir, en lo que compete en materia preventiva de salud.
Indicó que están realizando con éxito diversos programas, desde el fomento de estilos de vida saludable, prevención en las enfermedades recurrentes, en esta área purépecha son: diabetes, hipertensión, insuficiencia renal, entre otras enfermedades crónico- degenerativas y recientemente se anexó salud mental.
Mencionó que cada trienio se certifican 4 municipios. En esta ocasión, además de Chilchota, la SSM certificará en esta jurisdicción sanitaria a los municipios de Marcos Castellanos, Santiago Tangamandapio y Tingüindín.
Subrayó que esta certificación les garantizará como municipio un “plus”, ya que muy pocos municipios la obtienen, «significa que estamos haciendo bien nuestro trabajo, que realizamos labores preventivas, manejo adecuado de pandemia COVID, al seguir puntualmente las indicaciones estatales y federales».
«Con esta certificación se verá reflejado todo el esfuerzo, tanto de la SSM como del ayuntamiento, preocupados por tener una población sana. Estamos privilegiando por encima de todo la salud». Dijo que seguirán enfocando sus esfuerzos para prevenir la obesidad y la mala alimentación, principales factores que, consideró, derivan en diversas enfermedades.
