-Riesgos de positividad bajaran con disminución de temperatura

Sigue en cero la cantidad de contagios por dengue en el municipio, derivado de que se ha dado respuesta de la población para participar con las medidas de prevención a través de la limpieza de sus frentes de casa, patios y azoteas que son las acciones principales contra la enfermedad.
Jaime Ramírez Oregel, director de salud pública, informó que están a punto de cerrar con éxito este año de actividades derivado de que se puede terminar este ciclo sin casos positivos, porque los riesgos de positividad comienzan a diluirse con la disminución de temperatura que se ha sentido durante los últimos días.
“Recordemos que a partir de que hace más frío el mosco no desaparece, pero si entra en una etapa de hibernación que propicia el hecho de que se tenga un mayor control sobre la población del insecto y lo vamos a analizar en la medida que hagamos una nueva lectura de ovitrampas colocadas en las colonias consideradas de alto riesgo de contagio”, explicó.
Comentó que en días pasados han realizado acciones de fumigación en colonias como generalísimo Morelos y de manera reciente en Ario de Rayón. Las nebulizaciones se durante la madrugada tras considerar que surte mayor efecto el insecticida y de esa manera se puede tener un mayor control de la situación sumado a las acciones de prevención.
“En próximos días trabajaremos en los lugares donde también se concentra un mayor número de insectos como es la zona de Valencia y colonia Ramírez, principalmente. Esperamos que en los próximos meses confirmemos el cierre de esta temporada con cero contagios”, finalizó.
