– Se realiza en el Colegio de Michoacán con exponentes de alto nivel

El onceavo Congreso de Nefrología (rama de la medicina que se encarga del estudio de la funcionalidad del riñón y las patologías que afectan a este órgano), continuó este viernes con exposiciones de alto nivel mismo que concluirá mañana 22 de octubre en las instalaciones del Colegio de Michoacán (COLMICH).
Así lo informó Vladimir Adolfo Murillo Rodríguez, Médico nefrólogo el Congreso contempló módulos de enfermería, nutrición, padecimientos que desencadenan problemas renales y aspectos del trasplante de riñón, con la participación de ponentes de talla nacional provenientes de Morelia, Guadalajara, San Luis Potosí y de la Ciudad de México; así como procedentes de Indianápolis, EU.
Los expositores abordaron temas como enfermedades del riñón, insuficiencia renal, tratamiento en hemodiálisis, trasplante del riñón, manejo por la enfermera, la nutrición, entre otros, donde las ponencias del más destacadas fueron respecto al riñón, órgano vital que se encarga de sacar todas las toxinas y el agua del organismo, además de que produce algunas hormonas y sustancias benéficas para el cuerpo, entre otras cien funciones que cumple este órgano.
Hoy las ponencias fueron «Obesidad como factor de riesgo para enfermedad renal»; «Manejo conservador en enfermedad renal crónica en avanzada»; «Actividad física en predialisis»; «Estrategias psicológicas básicas para el beneficio de los pacientes»; «Generalidades del trasplante renal»; «Evaluación y seguimiento del donante renal vivo» y «Nutrición en el paciente trasplantado».
Para mañana sábado 22 algunas de las ponencias son las siguientes: 10 am «nefropatía por agroquímicos, situación en México y perspectiva»; 11 am «Flora intestinal y riñón»; 12 am «Síndrome cardio-renal y 2 pm ¿Qué nos enseñó el COVID?
«El daño renal es una pandemia silenciosa. La insuficiencia renal crónica se elevó en nuestro país de manera preocupante. Actualmente existen 15 millones de enfermos en México, de los cuales, menos del uno por ciento podrán llegar a diálisis, hemodiálisis o trasplante de riñón; por lo que muchos pacientes se nos van a quedar en el camino y van a fallecer por la enfermedad», destacó.
Finalmente añadió que la diabetes es la principal causa a nivel mundial que desencadena la insuficiencia renal, sin embargo, en la región Zamora además han detectado que el uso excesivo de pesticidas y fertilizantes químicos genera que cada vez más personas jóvenes padezcan la enfermedad, sobre todo trabajadores del campo.
Jaime Ramírez, director de salud, en representación del Alcalde de Zamora, Carlos Soto, resaltó que hoy en día es importante que los ciudadanos cuenten con mejores servicios de salud y que los médicos se actualicen en las distintas áreas con la idea de hacer frente a las enfermedades con mayor índice de mortandad.
Agregó que congresos como este de Nefrología también son un parteaguas para generar la cultura de la donación de órganos, como es el caso del trasplante de riñón, con el que se puede salvar una vida, además de consolidar alianzas y estrategias con personal médico e instituciones.
