El sector restaurantero espera un repunte de 50 por ciento en ingresos tras la celebración de Día de Muertos, derivado de que se espera la visita de miles de personas desde los últimos días de octubre hasta la primera semana de noviembre, lo cual será beneficioso para que el sector pueda levantar su actividad tras el periodo de pandemia de COVID.
Jorge Armando Su Su, presidente de la asociación de bares y restaurantes, informó que la expectativa crece a partir de que se comienza a conocer que hay visitantes, por lo que consideró es un área de oportunidad para que los visitantes conozcan la gastronomía que tiene el municipio.
Indicó que la inyección de recursos puede ser relevante en la parte final del año para hacer frente a los efectos de la crisis económica causada por la pandemia de COVID 19 y al hecho de que también los empresarios puedan trabajar en un momento determinado para lograr la manutención de sus familias.
Comentó que es importante el hecho de que en el municipio no se dejen de realizar actividades que vengan a promover el turismo, ya que de esa manera se genera una movilidad en el municipio que permite el hecho de que haya circulante y más si se considera que la actividad gastronómica apenas comienza a despegar en la actualidad.
Finalmente reiteró que el último trimestre del año será importante para determinar si hay negocios que se mantienen en pie o de manera definitiva cierran sus puertas ante la falta de recursos económicos, no obstante hay optimismo de poder mantener en el mercado competitivo a partir de la recuperación gradual.
