– Congregó a más de 200 tatuadores

Con buen éxito se desarrolló la segunda edición de la Expo Tatuaje Michoacán en las instalaciones de conocido hotel del centro de la ciudad, donde participaron más de 250 tatuadores nacionales e internacionales provenientes del interior de la república y de países como: Argentina, Italia, Colombia y Costa Rica.
Gonzalo Alfonso Cortés “El Chef”, de los principales organizadores del evento, consideró que este evento es uno de los más grandes del país en cuestión urbana, que incentiva el turismo y la derrama económica.
Esta expo inició desde el 27 de octubre con los tatuadores estudiando en un seminario impartido por los mejores exponentes del tatuaje: artistas de Guadalajara, Guanajuato, Ciudad de México e Italia. El viernes 28 fue la fiesta de bienvenida, con la participación de un DJ.
Los días 29 y 30 de octubre se realizó la expo como tal, donde participaron grupos musicales de la República Mexicana e internacionales de rap, rock y ska, entre ellos: el Pinche brujo, Yaz Tarelo, Mr. Placas, Capitán Colibrí, Los hijos del maíz y desde Argentina, se contó con la participación de La Mosca y West Gold.
Hubo rifas de tatuajes, perforaciones, maquillaje de catrinas y concursos de tatuajes, se contó con áreas de grafiti, venta de galletas mágicas con mariguana, área de brincolines para niños.
También hubo se disfrutó de rica gastronomía y bebidas, los costos de los tatuajes rondaron los 700 a los 5 mil pesos, dependiendo de la figura, la dimensión del tatuaje, si es de color o en sombras y la calidad de este, “buscamos con este evento erradicar los tabús, el estigma y la discriminación hacia las personas que tienen tatuajes”.
Finalmente consideró que se debe cambiar la mentalidad acerca del tatuaje, “no se trata de una expresión callejera, de una marca de barrio, sino que representa un arte de gran nivel, quienes nos dedicamos a esto lo hacemos en estudios formales, con todas las medidas sanitarias y constantemente nos estamos preparando en cursos, seminarios y licenciaturas. El trabajo ya no es como hace 50 años, que con máquinas de barrio hacían un trabajo precario, ahora ya se ve como una obra de galería, puesta en la piel».
