– Ayuntamiento está listo con hoteleros y restauranteros para recibir turistas

Una derrama de 10 millones de pesos se espera para las vacaciones de Semana Santa que iniciarán a partir del próximo lunes 3 de abril en la localidad, producto del arribo de turistas.
La intención es que en Zamora haya una movilidad económica importante a partir de los ingresos que dejen los visitantes en el comercio y prestación de servicios (restaurantes y hoteles), pero principalmente a partir de la actividad turística programada para esas fechas.
Cuauhtémoc Ventura Orozco, director de turismo, aseguró que los datos son conservadores si se toma en consideración los resultados del año pasado, en donde la derrama económica fue cercana a los 9 millones de pesos durante los días santos, que fue cuando regresó la movilidad urbana y organización de eventos en la localidad.
“Simplemente en las actividades del denominado triduo de Semana Santa se espera una participación de al menos 30 mil personas que conforman un 15 por ciento del total de la población de Zamora, si consideramos que hay al menos 200 mil habitantes. Actualmente Zamora tiene una capacidad para recibir a por lo menos mil 200 personas en los diferentes hoteles que hay en la localidad”, explicó.
Comentó que tanto la actividad de Semana Santa como Día de Muertos se han posicionado no solo en la región, sino también a nivel nacional e internacional, porque hoy existen turistas que conocen Zamora por esos esfuerzos y de allí que el reto sea de generar mayor número de atracciones para que se pueda avanzar en ese objetivo.
“Algo que se debe comprender es que la economía de un municipio no solo recae en la agricultura y comercio como en antaño. Hoy también se puede lograr a partir de que se fortalezca el turismo y es una actividad en la que vamos a apostarle duro en los siguientes meses para que el municipio se pueda consolidar en esa materia”, finalizó.
