– Buscan evitar proliferación del mosquito transmisor de la enfermedad antes de lluvias

Será reforzada la colocación de ovitrampas en diferentes puntos de la zona urbana con la finalidad de detectar focos de riesgo de dengue y que de esa manera se pueda atender el tema de forma más puntual para no tener problemas a partir de que inicie el temporal de lluvias, que es propicio para que se dispare la generación del insecto.
Jaime Ramírez Oregel, director de salud pública, informó que la intención es evitar la proliferación del mosquito transmisor de la enfermedad antes de que se disparen brotes importantes y para ello solicitó a las personas que permitan el ingreso de las brigadas de vectores a los hogares, ya que es una problemática importante a la que se enfrentan en estas labores.
“El personal irá bien identificado con su uniforme de la Secretaría de Salud del Estado, pero además solicitaremos el auxilio de los presidentes de colonia o jefes de manzana para que nos acompañen en estas labores y vean que existe confianza en la función que realizan estas personas, quienes únicamente van a realizar su trabajo preventivo no a aplicar sanciones como se llega a pensar”, mencionó.
Comentó que a partir de la lectura de ovitrampas se determinará de una manera más actualizada cuáles son las zonas que se deben atender para evitar que se presenten casos de dengue, pero también se reforzará la aplicación de abate que permite evitar el desarrollo de larvas del insecto en estancamientos de agua como pilas y tinacos.
“De allí que también será importante que la gente aplique lo que anteriormente se realizaba en tirar desperdicios que representen un riesgo para generar criaderos del insecto, que tape o voltee contenedores de líquido porque de esa manera garantizamos que los riesgos de que haya huevecillos o larvas se disminuyan de manera considerable”, finalizó.
