– Puntualizan médicos zamoranos luego del surgimiento de cifras internacionales de la pandemia
– El país tuvo alrededor del 10 por ciento de muertes a nivel mundial por enfermedad

“México nunca tuvo ninguna estrategia efectiva para atender el tema de COVID 19, esto durante los 3 años en que se presentó con intensidad la enfermedad. Las autoridades federales nunca supieron cómo atender y enfrentar; no hubo un confinamiento organizado y los hospitales en su momento se vieron rebasados a diferencia de otras partes del mundo en donde las acciones fueron efectivas y no hubo una recepción importante de pacientes, debido a que la prevención sí funcionó”, puntualizaron los médicos Rubén Alfaro y Ramiro Espinoza, tras ser abordados por EL INDEPENDIENTE TV.
Mencionaron que un ejemplo es el hecho de que de los 7 millones de fallecimientos que hubo en el mundo, por coronavirus, el 10 por ciento se haya concentrado en México, de acuerdo a un estudio internacional hecho en los países donde hubo experiencias positivas y otros que no tuvieron éxito con una estrategia contundente que provocó un alto índice de mortandad que rebasó en su momento las expectativas en el ámbito de la salud.
Comentaron que parte de las estrategias eran las medidas de contención, el aislamiento o confinamiento oportuno e incluso el cierre de las fronteras, las cuales fueron acciones nulas en México porque el manejo de la pandemia fue “pésimo”, desde su perspectiva, desde lo que es el ámbito de las instituciones públicas, que incluso no manejaron las estadísticas conforme a la realidad de la enfermedad.
“Podemos decir que en el ámbito de la medicina privada se manejó hasta mil veces mejor el tema del coronavirus a diferencia de lo que ocurrió en el sector público, que no tomó la responsabilidad de aceptar pacientes. Incluso los galenos privados brindaron asesoría a las personas vía telefónica o con los cuidados preventivos necesarios para evitar que se expandieran los contagios entre demás sectores de la sociedad”, dijeron.
Finalmente agregaron que, a partir de la falta de capacidad de las autoridades federales, el gremio médico de cada institución privada tomó la batuta y llevó a cabo las medidas pertinentes para brindar atención a la población basado en información de países en donde sí hubo éxito en las estrategias para contener el COVID 19 y al final los resultados se dieron en pacientes recuperados, pero también en cómo evitar mayor número de contagios.
