– Aseguran que regulación en el precio del gas LP vino a ser fundamental para no hacerlo

La unión de industriales de la Masa y la Tortilla no tiene intenciones, por el momento, de volver a incrementar el precio del kilo del producto al público consumidor.
Uno de los factores importantes para evitar llevar a cabo esa medida es que hay una regulación en el precio de gas LP que durante los últimos días va a la baja y es hasta 20 por ciento más barato.
“Anteriormente debíamos invertir sobre de 10 a 15 mil pesos mensuales en el costo del gas para la elaboración del producto y hoy es menor la cantidad debido a que mermó el precio del energético. Sin duda nos ayuda para mejorar las condiciones económicas de cada uno en la actualidad”, puntualizó Luis López García, miembro del organismo.
Comentó que otro de los factores que se analizó es que durante el año pasado se dieron 2 incrementos casi de manera consecutiva que hoy tienen el kilo de tortillas en 28 pesos y ello sin duda perjudicó los bolsillos de los consumidores que se evidenció en una baja en su consumo del producto.
Indicó que en donde si existe preocupación es en el precio del grano, porque es irregular y cuando llega subir tiene una volatilidad importante que afecta la economía de los tortilleros. En lo que va del año han tenido alzas superiores a los mil pesos en el costo y en consecuencia deben optar por economizar el gasto en los establecimientos.
“Estamos en una época en donde se calcula el promedio diario de consumo de tortillas para no gastar en servicios o insumos más allá de lo necesario, en referencia a lo que tenemos actualmente en los establecimientos, ya que no queremos tener mayores erogaciones, únicamente las necesarias para la elaboración del producto”, finalizó.
