– SAPAZ ha buscado solventar problema de estiaje de manera seccionada

Es probable que el temporal de secas se extienda para este año según expertos en la materia consultados por el Sistema de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado de Zamora (SAPAZ), quienes manifiestan esa posibilidad derivado de que está diagnosticado que las lluvias se retrasen 15 días y se culminen para septiembre del año en curso.
Durante el año pasado se captaron 521 milímetros de agua, que es casi un 40 por ciento por debajo de la media nacional de 800 milímetros. Para este ciclo está proyectado una cantidad inferior que podría agravar las condiciones de la agricultura y de las personas que se dedican a la ganadería ante la escasez de líquido para sus cabezas de ganado.
Joel Romero Quiroz, titular del organismo, informó que han buscado atender el problema de estiaje en diversas colonias y comunidades en donde desde meses atrás se ha presentado escasez del líquido o bajas presiones, porque gracias a la participación de vecinos, que cuando ven fugas o cualquier otro desperfecto en la infraestructura hídrica siempre hace los reportes respectivos para que se pueda actuar en consecuencia.
Indicó que con base en las reparaciones es que ha podido atender la problemática, pese a que tienen 2 equipos descompuestos derivado de un uso importante diario que tienen que propicia el hecho de que constantemente sufran desperfectos. Los puntos afectados son Villas Olímpicas y Villas del Magisterio y también en Monte Olivo hubo otras zonas perjudicadas que pudieron ser resueltas de inmediata.
“En los casos donde por alguna razón no hay agua enviamos pipas de agua a los vecinos para que no se queden sin agua y no dejen de tener líquido para sus actividades cotidianas. Hasta el momento mantenemos la esperanza de que los diagnósticos se puedan revertir, pero debemos estar preparados para lo que venga. Lo que si es necesario es que los mantos acuíferos se puedan recargar”, finalizó.
