– Autoridades lamentan apatía para contrarrestar efectos de desequilibrio ecológico en Zamora

“La población está desinteresada en buscar soluciones que permitan mejorar el medio ambiente en Zamora. Lo más lamentable es que cada vez más padecemos las consecuencias de la falta de conciencia, porque hoy tenemos temperaturas altas, por encima de los 36 grados centígrados, zonas más desérticas y el hecho de que tengamos menos lluvias por la falta de pulmones verdes”, puntualizó Haydee Alfaro Sánchez, directora de protección animal y ecología.
Comentó que cuidar el medio ambiente no solo es llevar a cabo la forestación de árboles en diferentes puntos del municipio sino también una modificación en los hábitos de vida para reducir los niveles de contaminación en diferentes puntos de la zona urbana y que de esa manera las personas vivan en mejores condiciones para tener una salud digna.
“Todos estamos llamados a preservar las condiciones del medio ambiente y no solo quienes estamos al frente en una responsabilidad de gobierno. Es importante que las familias desde el hogar comiencen a sumarse a las soluciones que permitan abatir las problemáticas ambientales porque de lo contrario quienes más van a sufrir las consecuencias son las actuales y futuras generaciones”, mencionó.
Enfatizó que hay mucha apatía de la sociedad no solo en el tema ambiental sino también en otras situaciones relacionadas como es el tema del cuidado del agua, protección de los animales e incluso de la violencia porque todo ello redunda en la conservación del equilibrio ecológico porque no puede ser posible que solo participen en Zamora de 2 a 3 organizaciones ecologistas conscientes.
“De allí que uno de los objetivos para este año nuestro foco de atención sean los jóvenes porque no hay una directriz que los pueda orientar desde la escuela a tener una conciencia que permita contrarrestar los efectos de la falta de interés en temas que tienen que ver con el mejoramiento de sus condiciones de vida”, concluyó.
