– Alertan a padres de familia ante incremento de querer “salir por la puerta falsa”

El Centro de Integración Juvenil (CIJ), a través de su titular, Francisco Gil Cerda, alertó a los padres de familia a mantener los medicamentos fuera del alcance de los niños y jóvenes. Esto ante el incremento de intentos suicidas con medicamentos de control, como los barbitúricos, ansiolíticos, antidepresivos, entre otros.
Comentó que existen casos donde las familias acumulan cajas y cajas de medicinas, ante diversas patologías que se tratan, pero en ocasiones, cuando existen condiciones desfavorables para un joven y tiene un acceso directo a estos, puede llegar a convertirse en una catástrofe tenerlos al alcance.
No obstante, dijo, «no debemos satanizar a los medicamentos, más bien hay que tener un control adecuado de estos, que los niños y jóvenes no tengan acceso directo a estos. Y ser muy prudentes como adultos para identificar que hay medicamentos que van a tener un contacto directo en nuestras vidas por un tiempo determinado y que no deben de ser permanentes».
Agregó, «tener tratamientos adecuados de orden de salud mental es importante, pero la contención y el seguimiento adecuado por un médico, es la parte fundamental. Por ello, hoy estuvimos en la Escuela Secundaria Técnica 46 de Ario para impartir una charla de salud mental a estudiantes, maestros y padres de familia.
A pregunta expresa, admitió que han crecido los trastornos emocionales como la ansiedad, depresión y los intentos suicidas con sustancias variables como barbitúricos u otros medicamentos que se tienen en casa, mediante un consumo masivo y constante o bien con cuchillos o cuerdas.
«Por ello el CIJ se está preocupando en buscar estrategias que les lleven esta información a las escuelas y que puedan identificar y, sobre todo, muy a tiempo, empezar a prevenir situaciones de riesgo».
Admitió que, en la actualidad, los usos excesivos de las redes sociales desencadenan trastornos que generan inestabilidad emocional, como insomnio y ansiedad, «y es que el abuso en el uso de estos dispositivos quita tiempo para otras áreas específicas de la vida, como la convivencia, el sano esparcimiento y el deporte».
Finalmente aseguró que las personas con enfermedades mentales se vuelven presa fácil del consuno de adicciones, «aunado al mercado negro y la fácil accesibilidad a las sustancias».
