– Fundamental acudir al sector salud ante cualquier síntoma; trabajadores de campo son los de mayor riesgo

«Ante la ola de calor es fundamental saber identificar los síntomas de alerta de una insolación, los cuales van desde taquicardia, respiración rápida, cansancio extremo, sudoración, dolor de cabeza y debilidad.
Ya que si esos aspectos no se atienden inmediatamente se puede avanzar a un golpe de calor”.
Advirtió Trinidad Villegas Aviña, Director del Centro de Salud Urbano de Zamora, agregó que el golpe de calor también implica sensación de piel muy caliente, pérdida de la conciencia, confusión mental, delirio, convulsiones, debilidad extrema y sensación de escalofríos».
Admitió que los grupos de mayor riesgo son los menores de 5 años y adultos mayores, así como sectores de la población como los trabajadores de campo, albañiles, policías de tránsito, entre otros que tienen prolongadas horas de exposición a la luz solar. De ahí que es fundamental la hidratación continua.
Indicó que afortunadamente en el Centro de Salud Urbano de Zamora, ubicado en la prolongación Galeana, no hay registros de casos de insolación o golpes de calor, sin embargo, “no debemos bajar la guardia, ya que las elevadas temperaturas continuarán hasta julio, «continuará una actividad intensa solar».
Concluyó al decir que, por lo tanto, hay que cuidar los tiempos de exposición solar, “si son pieles muy sensibles utilizar bloqueador solar para evitar daño directo sobre la piel, evadir actividades físicas al aire libre y consumir abundante liquido».
