– Perciben 4 mil 500 pesos por tonelada; no alcanza ante alza de costo de fertilizantes

Los productores de maíz no reciben lo justo por la venta de su producto.
Perciben 4 mil 500 pesos por tonelada, 2 mil pesos menos del precio ideal para los agricultores, con la finalidad de sacar ganancias y que la producción sea rentable de cara a próximos ciclos en el campo. La situación genera desmotivación en el sector para continuar con la inversión en el rubro.
“No es suficiente lo que se paga a los productores para costear los insumos que aplican para que la producción se de en las mejores condiciones, porque en 2 años los fertilizantes se dispararon hasta más de 100 por ciento y el diésel hasta en un 60 por ciento que hace cada vez más difícil invertir en la producción de grano”, puntualizó Jorge Hernández Álvarez, presidente de la asociación de pequeños productores de Huarachanillo.
Comentó que por hectárea se llegan a invertir más de 150 mil pesos en la actualidad y para el productor en pequeño es cada vez más complicado llevar a cabo una inversión la generación de grano; no tienen o reúnen los recursos suficientes para que se pueda trabajar en el ciclo del grano y deciden apostar a otro tipo de actividad económica.
Mencionó que lo ideal para los productores de grano es que se pague de 6 mil 500 a 7 mil pesos por tonelada o bien un precio que se acerque a esas cifras para que se puedan equilibrar sus finanzas y que de esa manera no haya ningún problema con relación al trabajo que se desempeña en el campo en una temporada que calificó de complicada por el rezago de lluvias que se ha generado.
Finalmente agregó que es urgente que las autoridades no sean indiferentes ante los llamados de los productores agrícolas porque una prueba del hartazgo que existe en ese respecto se presentó en la pasada manifestación que hubo al respecto en Sinaloa en donde el sector exige precios de garantía para que no se especule con el grano como se ha hecho por la falta de certidumbre en ese respecto.
