Con la intención de dar un mejor servicio a la población usuaria del transporte público en la zona urbana de la ciudad, la dirección municipal del trasporte buscará habilitar más paraderos en esta localidad con apoyo de la iniciativa privada.
Alejandro Mariscal Ochoa, titular de esta dirección, señaló que hasta el momento se cuenta en Zamora con un total de 48 paraderos, pero requieren por lo menos 10 más, sobre todo en puntos como la avenida Juárez y Morelos, donde se tiene una movilidad estimada de 600 personas diarias.
De igual forma, se ocupan algunos para colonias del poniente como Ario, o bien para lugares más céntricos como en la 20 de noviembre y Pino Suárez, entre otras, «pero no se cuenta con el recurso para habilitar este año dichos paraderos, ya que cada uno cuesta en promedio 110 mil pesos”.
Por lo que es más conveniente rehabilitar los que ya están, resaltó, para lo cual también van a recurrir al apoyo de empresarios, por ello están haciendo recorridos para detectar los paraderos que estén en mal estado a efecto de darles mantenimiento.
«Hemos garantizado mantenimiento a un total de 12 paraderos también con apoyo de empresarios que creen en el proyecto del presidente municipal, Carlos Soto. Asimismo, algunos que estaban arrumbados en obras los vamos a rehabilitar».
En otro orden de ideas, admitió que hay deficiencia en la cobertura del trasporte público en algunas colonias de la periferia, «en ese sentido los integrantes de la unión de rutas del trasporte urbano tienen reuniones cada 8 días a fin de detectar donde hay carencias del servicio y, de esta manera, organizarse para darlo en las colonias donde no se tiene buena cobertura».
