– CIJ signa convenio con la Diócesis de Zamora en aras de fomentar la paz social y abatir el problema de drogadicción

«Sólo en máxima lucidez, podremos vivir en máxima felicidad», dijo convencida Kena Moreno, fundadora y vice-presidenta vitalicia del patronato de los Centros de Integración Juvenil en el país (CIJ) en su visita a esta ciudad para estrechar lazos de cooperación con los integrantes del clero zamorano.
Esto en el marco de la firma de un convenio de colaboración que sostuvieron representantes del CIJ, integrantes de la Diócesis de Zamora y la asociación CARITAS (Caridad y Servicio Social), en aras de formalizar el desarrollo conjunto de actividades de prevención de las adicciones.
También trabajaran en conjunto en el tratamiento de las adicciones y la violencia, encaminadas al fomento de la paz social; así como la promoción de salud física y mental. Convenio signado en vísperas del 25 aniversario del CIJ Zamora, a celebrar en el próximo noviembre.
Por su parte, Javier Navarro Rodríguez, obispo de Zamora, resaltó que la familia es escudo contra toda drogadicción y contra todo mal, pero que importante que existan personas que, sin ser familia, se preocupen por el bienestar de la población, como lo es el CIJ, que no sólo se dedica a la prevención y al tratamiento, sino a la reintegración de las familias y con ello se trabaje en hacer comunidad donde prevalezca la paz».
«Felicito al CIJ por estar en vísperas de cumplir 25 años. En esas más de dos décadas han abonado a la integración de nuestra comunidad, atendiendo a los jóvenes y sus familias de una manera integral. La iglesia cobija esta iniciativa, en el sentido de tener en cuenta el elemento espiritual como algo importante para la integración de la persona con la comunidad”.
Ignacio Gil Moreno, representante legal de Caritas dijo, «en el año 2008, cuando los obispos estaban viendo esta situación de seguridad y violencia en el país, se hacían la pregunta que cual era el papel de la iglesia y destacaron la prevención, el acompañamiento y la motivación».
Alberto Sahagún Jiménez, presidente del Patronato del CIJ Zamora, consideró que el alcoholismo, la drogadicción y todos los disturbios de enfermedad mental, “tienen su origen en problemas familiares, problemas de autoestima, problemas de desarrollo y problemas sociales verdaderamente críticos».
«Las familias son el primer escudo contra la drogadicción, sin embargo, muchas se desintegran debido a la violencia y otros factores. Un ejemplo, en el kinder ubicado a un costado del CIJ, más de la mitad de los pequeños son huérfanos. Tenemos que poner especial atención en la población infantil, si no cuidamos de nuestros niños ahorita, van a ser sicarios en un futuro. Por tanto, como seres humanos debemos reflexionar de cuál es nuestro compromiso con la sociedad».
Finalmente, Francisco Gil Cerda, director del CIJ, a través de un video, hizo un recuento de los logros más significativos que ha tenido el CIJ a lo largo de estos 25 años.
