– Ante presencia de lluvias, buscan evitar incremento de mosquitos

En estos días se redoblaron los esfuerzos para establecer un monitoreo que permita evitar casos de dengue en el municipio, por medio de avisos constantes a la población y el hecho de que las brigadas de vectores se encuentran sumamente activas en colonias y comunidades para no dejar de vigilar las ovitrampas colocadas en diferentes hogares para verificar los niveles de población del mosquito transmisor.
Jaime Ramírez Oregel, director de salud pública, informó que el hecho de que las lluvias ahora sí se presenten de manera constante es un motivo sólido para evitar incremente la presencia del insecto transmisor de la enfermedad y de allí que intensifiquen la campaña preventiva para enviar el mensaje contundente a la población para que tire, voltee y lave objetos, patios, azoteas y frentes de las casas.
Comentó que por el momento se han mantenido las cifras de contagios, pero no han dejado de reunirse de manera frecuente con personal de la Jurisdicción Sanitaria No. 2 para analizar cualquier foco de atención o riesgo porque no descartó que con el temporal pluvial se dispare de manera importante la presencia de mosquitos en el lugar.
Finalmente agregó que hasta el momento realizan la inspección en al menos 2 mil ovitrampas colocadas en diferentes puntos de la zona urbana y aseguró que por el momento no se contemplan fumigaciones, pese a que personal sanitario estatal recibió un equipo respectivo en donación por parte del ayuntamiento en días recientes.
