– Estiman concluir para finales de diciembre

De marzo a la fecha se lleva más del 40 por ciento de avance en la reconstrucción de la Escuela José María Morelos; ya se edificó la obra negra que contempla cimientos, pisos, bardas.
Faltan techos, enjarres e instalaciones. El proyecto de reconstrucción integral incluye 12 aulas, un salón de computo, dos direcciones, dos baños y una cancha de usos múltiples.
Estos trabajos implican una inversión federal de más de 12 millones de pesos, estiman pueda estar concluida al 100 por ciento a finales de diciembre, así lo expresó María Guadalupe Guillen Orozco, directora de dicha escuela en el turno matutino.
Detalló que mientras tanto, una vez que pase el periodo vacacional de verano, continuarán tomando clases en la Escuela para Trabajadores a donde fueron reubicados los alumnos desde el pasado marzo por personal de protección civil, quienes detectaron una falla que atraviesa la escuela, ocasionada por los más recientes sismos de gran magnitud, aunado a que la escuela tiene 70 años en uso.
Reveló que antes de ser reubicados a la escuela para trabajadores, los estudiantes tomaron clases digitales. No obstante, los padres exigieron el regreso de las clases presenciales. Por lo que tuvieron que trabajar en la calle Uruapan que está en las inmediaciones de la escuela Morelos. Después, la secretaria de educación en el estado (SEE) y la secretaria de comunicaciones y obras públicas (SCOP) determinaron que existían las condiciones para tomar clases en la cancha de futbol.
Ahí permanecieron hasta que se dieron las condiciones para iniciar la reconstrucción de esta escuela. Por lo que finalmente en marzo los reubicaron a la escuela ya citada, donde estuvieron tomando clases. Hoy fue la clausura de cursos, iniciaron con 264 alumnos y el ciclo escolar lo están culminando con 201. Por lo que tuvieron 63 bajas, debido a todos estos cambios, finalizó.
