Miguel Ramos Alejo, Presidente municipal de Chilchota, en conjunto con Grisel Tello Pimentel, Presidenta del DIF estatal, encabezaron la entrega de aparatos funcionales: más de 60 sillas de ruedas para facilitar la vida a las personas con discapacidad motriz, así como bastones y andaderas.
El alcalde agradeció este gesto del gobernador, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, quien, dijo, ha sabido dar la cara a los michoacanos con acciones altruistas como esta, «en conjunto estamos dando resultados».
En tanto, Tello Pimentel dijo que se trata de un acto histórico, ya que estos aparatos contribuyen a apoyar la reintegración social de las personas para que puedan salir y hacer sus labores cotidianas.
«Esto sin duda abona al cuidado de su salud mental, no sólo de los beneficiados, sino de sus familias. Las buenas labores inician desde casa, si cuidamos a los miembros de nuestra familia, estamos abonando a generar una sociedad de paz, de armonía y de estabilidad emocional».
Aseguró que el mandatario estatal todos los días se levanta con el buen ánimo de construir un mejor Michoacán para todos, haciendo equipo con los municipios de la región, «sólo de manera coordinada, lograremos salir adelante, se trabaja con todos los municipios de manera igualitaria, no hay distingo de colores, la gente necesita que todos hagamos nuestro esfuerzo para salir adelante”.
«El personal de los DIF municipales deben ser siempre empáticos con la gente que nos necesita, seamos siempre esa cara amable, que gestione, insista, que resuelva, que dé la mano, atienda y escuche».
Jorge Luis Peña, beneficiario, indicó que, ante la adversidad, siempre es gratificante contar con el apoyo de personas comprometidas con las causas sociales que se sensibilicen son los sectores más vulnerables.
