– Carlos Soto pide a empresarios no dejar de apoyar y fortalecer la causa para evitar deserción escolar

Luego del mediodía de hoy fue entregada la primera dotación de Becas Padrino a 100 infantes zamoranos con el propósito de contribuir a fortalecer sus estudios y evitar que deserten de las escuelas por falta de recursos económicos.
El apoyo entregado corresponde a 6 meses de apoyo, de manera que cada infante recibió mil 800 pesos en esta ocasión.
Al respecto, el presidente municipal, Carlos Soto Delgado, resaltó que Becas Padrino es un programa que este Ayuntamiento volvió a retomar luego de que por diferentes causas se dejara de lado en otras administraciones locales. Aseguró que la educación siempre ha sido una prioridad en su proyecto de trabajo y de allí que ha buscado acercar diferentes apoyos para que los niños estudien en las mejores condiciones.
“Una muestra es que además del apoyo recibido por empresarios, funcionarios públicos y particulares, también hemos hecho gestiones ante la iniciativa privada para que se pueda dotar de insumos a las instituciones educativas para que puedan llevar a cabo la rehabilitación de sus planteles educativos y que los infantes tengan espacios dignos en donde cursar su educación”, dijo.
Por su parte, Rocío Soto Delgado, presidenta del DIF Municipal, agradeció la buena voluntad de quienes han participado con su aportación mensual dentro de este programa y aseguró que continuará la gestión para que más personas se puedan sumar al destino de recursos económicos para que los niños que están en condiciones vulnerables puedan mantener sus estudios con su generosidad.
