Del 26 al 28 de julio se desarrollará en Guadalajara el 13avo Congreso Internacional Aneberries «Sembrando trabajo, se cosechan oportunidades», contempla 20 conferencias con ponentes de gran nivel, en temas diversos: reglamentaciones que establece la FDA (agencia de los alimentos en Estados Unidos); la inocuidad; tendencias determinantes en el futuro de la industria de las berries; oportunidades y retos en los mercados de EU, Europa y comercio nacional, informó Juan José Flores García, Director general de Aneberries.
Así como charlas acerca del uso de insectos benéficos y su interacción con la producción comercial y la orgánica; temas laborales y derechos humanos; igualmente una mesa redonda sobre las experiencias y estratégicas para la conservación de los polinizadores y su equilibrio en el medio ambiente. Las abejas, aliadas perfectas para las berries.
Además de hidroponía y nuevas tecnologías para la producción de fresa; problemas fitosanitarios y control de plagas; evolución de la genética y el viberismo; desafío para el uso sustentable de los sustratos; situación actual de la producción de berries en Perú y Marruecos, principales competidores de México de las blueberries en el mercado de los EU, pero también en el viejo continente.
Asimismo, el miércoles 26 a las 7 am se realizará la cuarta carrera con causa de las berries, a beneficio de la Casa Hogar «Samuel» de la ciudad de Guadalajara que atiende a niños en situación de abandono, maltrato, de calle o en orfandad. Incluye además, coktail de bienvenida y cena-show; zona comercial con mas de 165 patrocinadores.
Esperan 2 mil 500 asistentes: productores, técnicos, autoridades, patrocinadores, estudiantes. El costo es de 5 mil 500 pesos a público en general y hay costo preferencial para productores y estudiantes. Interesados pueden inscribirse en www.congresoberries.com
Antonio Sámano Ochoa, productor y agro industrial, mencionó que en este congreso se tocarán puntos «neurálgicos» para el desarrollo del campo y la agro industria, como los ya citados así como la comercialización, el perfil orgánico de los productos y la cuestión social.
Francisco Javier Licea, director de desarrollo rural y fomento industrial, detalló que en el Valle de Zamora la producción de fresa ha crecido en los últimos 10 años, de 24 mil hectáreas a 55 mil a la fecha, «estamos en una zona privilegiada ya que aquí tenemos la distribución de frutos frescos a diferentes países».
Finalmente, Héctor Vega Morales, director de desarrollo rural de Jacona, subrayó que Aneberries es una organización responsable que apuesta al cambio sustentable, al uso de productos orgánicos para beneficio de los productores y de la humanidad.
