– Al decano Leonel Ruiz Guerrero y a Héctor Octavio Morales Juárez, zamorano por adopción

Un grupo de abogados realizaron un homenaje a dos de sus colegas destacados, quienes, por muchos años, han contribuido a la impartición de justicia. En el marco del día del abogado, reconocieron la labor de Leonel Ruiz Guerrero, decano de la jurisprudencia en Zamora, con 55 años de ejercicio profesional y a Héctor Octavio Morales Juárez, zamorano por adopción, magistrado en retiro, quien además se desempeñó como presidente del Supremo Tribunal de Justicia en el estado (STJE).
Ricardo Flores Navarro, abogado, expresó que es digno realizar tributo a estos dos personajes, “los homenajes siempre deben hacerse en vida, su aportación a la sociedad ha sido muy valiosa, ya que ambos han contribuido con su labor a fortalecer el estado de derecho».
Por ejemplo, añadió, Morales Juárez inició como juzgador, impartidor de justicia, “es muy meritorio, porque es una persona que empezó desde abajo y llegó a lo máximo que puede aspirar un miembro del poder judicial, no solamente ser magistrado, sino presidir el poder judicial del estado».
Por su parte, la abogada Fabiola Bustamante admitió que esta carrera abona a la reconstrucción del tejido social, además de que genera muchas fuentes de trabajo, «desde tiempos remotos se sabe que el médico, el profesor y el abogado, siempre son unas eminencias, por tantos, son profesiones respetables».
A esta celebración, realizada en el salón «La Uruguaya», acudieron más de 50 abogados. Morales Juárez expresó, » es una gran satisfacción recibir de un foro de abogados tan serios y profesionales un reconocimiento por mis 51 años de desarrollo profesional en el poder judicial del estado, donde me desempeñe como escribiente, actuario, notificador, secretario de acuerdos, juez, magistrado y finalmente el honor de llegar a la presidencia del STJE».
Finalmente, aconsejó a los futuros abogados que hoy se instruyen en las universidades a desempeñarse con honorabilidad, profesionalismo, ética y actualizarse continuamente.
