-Falta cultura en las personas para adoptar esas medidas en el hogar

Con motivo del periodo vacacional, autoridades de Protección Civil recomiendan a las familias establecer un plan de protección durante el receso escolar, principalmente, si piensan salir de viaje para no tener que enfrentarse a una problemática de incendio en el hogar, entre otros.
Para activar las medidas, fue solicitado desconectar los electrodomésticos para no tener algún riesgo ante una tormenta eléctrica.
“En este temporal de lluvias se corre el riesgo de que los fenómenos climatológicos se presenten en esas condiciones y de allí que lo mejor es tomar esas medidas porque ante un corto circuito por una descarga eléctrica se corre el riesgo de generar fuego en el hogar y que haya pérdidas económicas importantes”, puntualizó Daniel Martínez Mora, coordinador municipal de protección civil.
Indicó que lamentablemente falta cultura entre las personas para adoptar esas medidas en el hogar, porque en la mayoría de los casos no se toman en cuenta estas recomendaciones, hasta que ocurre una contingencia. En todos los casos que se han presentado, 2 durante el último bimestre, se ha actuado de manera oportuna, de forma que solo se reportaron daños materiales y no pérdidas humanas.
Concluyó al decir que es importante que los ciudadanos participen y sean conscientes del tema, porque es una manera de contribuir a salvaguardar vidas, pero también a proteger su patrimonio ya que es lamentable observar que en solo unos minutos y aun con el fuego controlado las personas pierdan lo que durante muchos años les costó obtener.
