Continua el programa gratuito «Mis vacaciones en la Biblioteca», mismo que inició el pasado 10 de julio y se extenderá hasta el 3 de agosto. Los padres interesados en inscribir a sus hijos de 5 años en adelante, aun están a tiempo de hacerlo. Al final se les entrega un reconocimiento por parte del ayuntamiento municipal. Maria Yessenia Hernández Castro, encargada de la biblioteca publica «Manuel Martínez de Navarrete», informó que durante estas 4 semanas, de lunes a viernes de 10 am a 12 pm, se desarrollan diverso talleres encaminados al fomento a la lectura, con temas como artes, fabulas, sentimientos y cuidado de las mascotas. Hasta el momento se han inscrito 17 niños y la meta es llegar 25.
Dentro de estas actividades los pequeños realizan lecturas en voz alta, manualidades, pintura de figuras en yeso, actividades teatrales, dibujos, juegos de investigación, sopa de letras, crucigramas; ademas de que ven cuentos en power point y cuenta cientos con títeres, etcétera, «todas estas actividades van enfocadas al desarrollo de la imaginación de los pequeños».
Mencionó que tras el periodo de pandemia, donde se agudizó el rezago educativo, hoy más que ninca se requiere reforzar el hábito por la lectura.
Finalmente indicó que durante vacaciones la biblioteca continuara abierta en un horario corrido de lunes a viernes de 9 am a 7 pm para todos los usuarios que quieran seguir haciendo uso de esta.
