Aunque en los últimos periodos de asueto bajó el robo a casa -habitación, en la media de lo que generalmente se tiene cada periodo, que son 6 casos en promedio;
no está por demás que si salimos de vacaciones dejemos nuestra casa al cuidado de algún familiar, «que continuamente le echen un ojo», aconsejó Fernando Fernández, director de seguridad pública de Zamora.
Indicó que este tipo de delitos se llega a presentar principalmente en las zonas donde se tienen casas cuyos propietarios tienen un mayor nivel económico, «en Zamora hay sitios así que atraen a los maleantes, pero afortunadamente son pocos los reportes que tenemos».
Subrayó que la organización vecinal es fundamental para inhibir los delitos, «es necesario que los vecinos se organicen para estar al pendiente de sus casas y negocios. Si alguien detecta algo extraño lo reporte inmediatamente al 911, “gracias a la coordinación que existe entre los cuerpos armados de los 3 órdenes de gobierno, bajó en un 50 por ciento los delitos de alto impacto, desde homicidios y robo de vehículos”.
«Tan solo en julio llevamos un reporte de 8 robos entre motocicletas y vehículos. Normalmente cerramos por mes con un registro de 12 a 15 robos de ambos trasportes. Afortunadamente tenemos una recuperación del 60 por ciento. La mayoría de estos robos no son con violencia, son de carros estacionados, sobre todo de alta gama y media alta».
En ese sentido invitó a los conductores a instalar un sistema GPS a su vehículo, «para que a la hora que sean objeto de este tipo de delitos tengamos la oportunidad de apoyar para su recuperación. Solamente 1 de cada 10 vehículos cuentan con sistema de GPS, no le damos prioridad a este patrimonio, la gente no se hace a la idea que en cualquier momento pueden despejarla del mismo y no le invierte en esta tecnología».
