– Vigilaran que su operatividad sea de acuerdo a la normatividad para evitar accidentes como lo ocurrido en Quintana Roo

A 50 años de haberse construido la clínica 4 del Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS), ubicada en la colonia La Luneta de esta ciudad, por fin esta edificación de dos plantas contará con elevador, el cual facilitará el servicio, sobre todo a pacientes vulnerables con dificultad de movilidad, personas con discapacidad, adultos mayores, embarazadas, etc., señaló Manuel Montañez Espinoza, director médico de esta clínica.
Indicó que desde hace 2 meses se empezó a instalar el mismo y ya lleva un avance considerable , «el cubo de concreto debidamente reforzado con las varillas necesarias ya está terminado, sólo falta que la empresa constructora haga el elevador adecuado a las medidas del cubo, con las características que exige la norma para que no tengamos incidentes, como el que lamentablemente ocurrió en Quintana Roo».
Dijo que personal especializado del IMSS estará vigilante que se realice el mantenimiento constante a este elevador, «este proyecto se realiza con una inversión aproximada de 5 millones de pesos, con presupuesto directo del IMSS. Se pretende inaugurar en diciembre».
Recordó que las áreas que se encuentran en la parte alta son: laboratorio, oftalmología,, otorrinolaringología, cardiología, consulta externa, «a duras penas los familiares ayudaban a sus pacientes a la planta alta o bien el especialista tenía que bajar. Eso era un gran problema y ahora con este elevador vamos a brindar una atención de calidad».
La obra beneficiará a los 580 trabajadores que forman parte de la plantilla de este hospital y a una derechohabiencia de 150 mil personas de los municipios que conforman esta región.
