– Extienden labores hasta comunidades; piden no bajar la guardia con acciones de limpieza

Ya son 8 casos de dengue en Zamora que se tienen registrados por la Jurisdicción Sanitaria No. 2. Del total de positivos, uno es hemorrágico (detectado en mayo pasado), otro moderado y el resto de tipo clásico.
La mayoría de los portadores son personas que viven en la zona poniente de la ciudad, en donde se han concentrado las labores preventivas y reactivas.
Jaime Ramírez Oregel, director de salud pública, informó que a partir de la confirmación de casos se intensificaron las labores de prevención como las campañas de limpieza y descacharrización en la zona poniente, sumado a las labores de fumigación con las que se busca controlar la población del mosquito transmisor de dengue.
“De hecho estos trabajos los vamos a extender hasta las tenencias y comunidades del municipio porque queremos fortalecer el cerco sanitario para abatir la enfermedad. Es importante que la gente no baje la guardia y para ello es que también capacitamos a personas de las comunidades para que ellos nos ayuden a colocar abate, al igual que también instruimos a personal del Ayuntamiento para hacer labores de fumigación”, mencionó.
Concluyó al decir que desde el pasado domingo 24 de septiembre ya trabajaron en las comunidades de El Sauz de Abajo, Tierras Blancas y Sauz de Arriba. Para el próximo 01 de octubre harán lo propio en lugares como La Rinconada y El Cerrito de Ortiz. La intención es proteger la zona rural de lo que pueda acontecer en los municipios cercanos a Zamora.
