– A través de una expo- venta, coordinada por el Instituto Michoacano del Artesano

La vasta riqueza artesanal de Michoacán se hace presente en distintos eventos, ahora estuvo en el cuadragésimo cuarto coloquio de Antropología e Historia «Paradojas del Territorio local», a través de una expo- venta que se realizó en el estacionamiento del Colegio de Michoacán (ColMich), coordinada por el Instituto Michoacano del Artesano.
Lourdes Chacón Pizano, secretaria de la subdirección de operación del Instituto Michoacano del Artesano, detalló que en esta muestra artesanal participaron 20 artesanos de diferentes municipios y comunidades de la entidad, con distintas ramas artesanales, “en estos espacios encontramos granadillo (utensilios de madera para cocina) y bisutería y colchas de Paracho; alfarería y perfilado en oro de Uruapan; tradicionales telas de manta, servilletas y manteles”.
Así como mandiles, vestidos, vestimenta para “guarecitas” e inditos, cajeta y obleas de San Juan Nuevo; guanengos y camisas bordadas en punto de cruz de San Miguel Nocutzepo; textil de lana, botas, gorras, chales, guantes de boca la Cañada (oriente de Michoacán); carteras, cinturones, zapatos de piel de Morelia; alhajeros, ropa bordada de El Jaral; juguete típico (baleros, trompos, juguetes didácticos) de Arantza.
Chacón Pizano resaltó que Michoacán es uno de los estados con más riqueza artesanal, «es una maravilla, tenemos muchas ramas artesanales que podemos presumir, elaboradas en diferentes materiales y diseños, desde textil, madera, fibra vegetal, ocoxal, cobre, lacas, etc., «en fin, la creatividad de los creadores michoacanos es digna de admirarse».
