– Tahoneros de la región lo hicieron ante la competencia de tiendas departamentales
– Prevén aumento del pan en los próximos días, ante incremento de insumos

A punto de concluir la conmemoración de los santos difuntos, que se alargó hasta este fin de semana, el consumo de pan de muerto estuvo a la baja debido principalmente a que los tahoneros de la región Zamora disminuyeron su producción.
Esto ante la competencia de las tiendas departamentales y el incremento a los insumos, según informó Elena Esparza, empleada de conocida panadería ubicada en el centro de la ciudad.
Dio a conocer que la baja en la producción fue de casi el 20% con respecto al año pasado; en cuanto a los insumos, puso como ejemplo que en menos de dos meses subieron 10 por ciento, como el huevo, azúcar y la leche, “no obstante el precio del pan de muertos estuvo estable, en relación con la misma temporada del año pasado. Por ejemplo, pan de muerto con sabor anís y naranja, pieza chica la dimos en 12 y la grande en 22 pesos”.
Por otra parte, adelantó que, ante alza de los insumos, los tahoneros de la región advierten que habrá un incremento en el precio de las piezas del pan en general en los próximos días, “en esta panadería se elaboran alrededor de unas 30 variedades de piezas diferentes desde: conchas, mantecadas, melones, picones, cuernitos, peinetas, hojarascas, mil hojas, polvorones de cacahuate , rosquillas de canela y sal, empanadas, moños, bocadillos, integrales, de avena, «borrego de huevo», «chorreada de piloncillo», «la fina» y el «pan de muerto», entre otras.
Finalmente dejó en claro, «las tiendas departamentales malbaratan el producto, lo dan a precios sumamente bajos, pero la calidad no es buena, contrario a las panaderías tradicionales que nos esmeramos por ofrecer sazón, calidad, textura y buen servicio, en nuestro caso nos respaldan 27 años de experiencia».
