“El tianguis artesanal será una venta para mostrar lo mejor que tiene Zamora, así como lo que pueden producir las manos michoacanas. Será un evento importante para que el municipio se pueda proyectar a nivel internacional. Se ha planeado desde hace año y medio; esperamos que se den los resultados para que se pueda atraer más turismo a esta región de la Entidad”, puntualizó el presidente municipal, Carlos Soto Delgado, en el marco de una rueda de prensa para anunciar el Tianguis Artesanal de Occidente.
Confirmó la participación de 500 artesanos que serán los encargados de mostrar a los visitantes lo que se puede elaborar en la Entidad y garantizó que las calles de Zamora estarán llenas de vida con las danzas, música, bailables, villancicos, pastorela y diversos eventos, de manera que todas las personas tendrán diferentes eventos a su alcance y no solo la exhibición de productos michoacanos.
Anunció que el 9 de diciembre será efectuado un desfile del evento a partir de las 10:00 de la mañana que iniciará desde la Glorieta de 5 de mayo, para después continuar por las calles Juárez, Morelos y concluir en la plaza principal, en donde se realizará la inauguración del evento con la presencia del gobernador de Michoacán, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla.
Por su parte, Cástor Estrada Robles, director del instituto del artesano michoacano, informó que será un evento meramente cultural, porque habrá familias de diferentes comunidades de la Meseta Purépecha, Tierra Caliente, Zona Lacustre, Occidente y Centro de la Entidad, que mostrarán sus piezas y sus conocimientos en el municipio, de manera que se transmitirá toda la cultura y experiencia a los habitantes de la localidad. Por ello, se considera que dejará una huella en la localidad.
