– Aseo Público se prepara para afrontar aumento de consumismo y no dejar de hacer servicio

Un repunte de hasta 100 toneladas de basura (20 por ciento más de lo ordinario) espera la coordinación de Aseo Público para la temporada de fin de año.
El motivo es el incremento del consumismo derivado de que las personas realizan esta práctica para pasar las fiestas decembrinas conjugado con un aumento en la cantidad de personas por la llegada de visitantes.
Leonardo Briseño Alvarado, titular de la dependencia, aseguró que con ese dato se haría la colecta de hasta 500 toneladas de basura diarias. Para ello, reforzarán la operatividad de los elementos de la dependencia con la finalidad de que las rutas no se queden sin cubrir y que toda la población tenga el servicio en colonias y comunidades.
“Actualmente tenemos una operatividad de 21 unidades en el parque vehicular que representa el 91 por ciento del total con que cuenta la dependencia. Hemos hecho un esfuerzo importante para mantener el servicio, porque a inicios de esta administración solo teníamos 17 y ahora tenemos 4 más en funciones. Este trabajo sin duda ayuda a que podamos hacer frente a temporadas altas”, dijo.
Concluyó que también dispondrán de personal para que calles como Juárez y 5 de mayo, además de las partes cercanas al Santuario Guadalupano se mantengan limpias tras el paso de las peregrinaciones porque es una realidad que la gente acostumbra a consumir productos y tirar desperdicios durante las festividades.
