“El campo se encuentra en una crisis severa; cada vez es más difícil invertir en cualquier tipo de cultivo porque hemos sido abandonados por las autoridades federales al desaparecer prácticamente todos los apoyos que antes se destinaban para impulsar la actividad primaria.
No es raro que hoy en día haya más tierras ociosas por esa situación”, puntualizó Jorge Hernández Álvarez, presidente de la asociación de pequeños productores de Huarachanillo.
En el marco de la tradicional entrega de juguetes, despensas, aguinaldos y cobijas que entregan los productores de esta zona a los familiares de sus jornaleros, comentó que anteriormente había apoyo para la adquisición de tractores o maquinaria y hoy no existe esa posibilidad para facilitar las labores agrícolas que cada vez más se encuentran inmersas en ese rezago y se tienen dificultades para hacer las labores de siembra y cosecha porque no se tienen las herramientas necesarias para las labores.
“Los insumos que utilizamos para los diferentes procesos productivos cada vez son más caros; desaparece Financiera Rural y en la actualidad el productor agrícola debe acercarse a solicitar préstamos en otro tipo de opciones que son gravosas, porque los intereses se disparan y se vuelven cantidades complicadas de pagar en corto plazo, de manera que se opta por no tomar esa opción. Aparte, ahora hay más exigencia fiscal para el productor”, explicó.
Concluyó al decir que lo más lamentable es que ya no hay seguros agrícolas para quienes tengan la suerte de ser perjudicados por una contingencia climatológica, de manera que el agricultor en la actualidad se encuentra abandonado y con el riesgo de que el campo, de seguir con esa tendencia, deje de ser una de las actividades primarias más importantes para la economía del municipio, el estado y el país.
