– Reconoció apoyo del gobierno estatal para consolidar eventos en todo el año

“La participación de las personas será clave para mantener los eventos que pueden generar atracción turística en Zamora.
Finalmente es la única garantía que tenemos para que estas tradiciones puedan continuar y se ha logrado a lo largo de un año con la celebración de Semana Santa, Día de Muertos, el Festival Navideño y ahora la celebración del 450 aniversario de la fundación de Zamora”, puntualizó Cuauhtémoc Ventura Orozco, director de turismo.
Informó que parte de los resultados están reflejados en los miles de visitantes que han acudido a las celebraciones mencionadas que de hacerse un cálculo sumatorio son más de 100 mil personas las que han participado en estas actividades de las que muchas son visitantes que llegan a descansar al sector hotelero que ha tenido temporadas favorables para sus ingresos.
“La ocupación hotelera se llega a mantener en las vacaciones en donde el porcentaje ha oscilado del 60 al 100 por ciento y es allí donde comienzan a verse los beneficios de la derrama económica que se generan a partir de estas actividades. En 2 años se ha logrado cambiar esa parte en el municipio y vamos por más porque vemos un área de oportunidad importante en la materia”, dijo.
Concluyó que de allí que es importante que la misma población sea la encargada de poner el ejemplo de participación en las diferentes actividades para que se ponga la atención en Zamora y que de esa manera se tengan mayores opciones para visitar el municipio en la actualidad derivado de la agenda cultural y turística que se pueda programar a lo largo del año.
