Es relevante para el presidente municipal, Carlos Soto Delgado, que los jóvenes y artistas urbanos tengan espacios adecuados de expresión, razón por la cual el Buen Gobierno puso en marcha la edición 2024 del programa “Muros Abiertos Zamora”, con la pinta de un mural en las bardas del Hotel Fénix, sobre la calle Morelos.
Con este programa echado andar por alumnos de la carrera de Diseño Gráfico de la UNIVA, se lustrarán edificios icónicos de la ciudad, emblemas representativos de Zamora, la naturaleza, la familia, deportes, lugares de interés y frutas de la región, entre otros.
Alejandra Garibay Jiménez, directora de Juventud, describió que el proyecto de “Muros Abiertos Zamora” inició con la pinta de un mural en las paredes externas de conocido hotel del centro de la ciudad, para difundir mensajes positivos, la historia del municipio, cultura, valores y tradiciones.
Indicó que el proyecto involucra a los jóvenes zamoranos que gustan de este tipo de manifestación, del sector estudiantil y muralistas, para que colaboren con ideas y sugerencias que puedan ser plasmadas en diferentes bardas de la zona urbana.
Agregó que con “Muros Abiertos Zamora” el Gobierno local busca los espacios adecuados para que los artistas urbanos puedan desarrollar sus ideas, ya que posteriormente, se continuará con la pinta del mural en las paredes del gimnasio de la Unidad Deportiva “El Chamizal”, que estará a cargo del artista Juan Pablo Álvarez y también se lustrarán las bardas del estacionamiento San Francisco, que se ubica en Hidalgo y Ocampo, por parte de Andrea Cervantes.
