– Será para celebrar viacrucis en ascenso al cerro; piden llevar agua y ropa cómoda

El club Amigos de la Beata invitó a la población a participar en lo que será la próxima romería para ascender a la zona cerril. Será efectuada el 24 de marzo, domingo de ramos, en lo que es el inicio de la Semana Santa. Durante la subida se hará reflexión por medio del viacrucis que se realiza de manera tradicional.
Luis Enrique Estrella Enríquez, presidente de la organización, puntualizó que también será importante el ascenso para verificar las condiciones en que se encuentran las lámparas de celdas solares que se encuentran en la cruz, si se considera que hace casi un mes una ya se encontraba dañada, pese a que apenas se colocaron para encender el ícono del cerro.
Recomendó a los asistentes a la romería llegar a las 6:30 de la mañana a la altura de la subestación de energía que se encuentra frente a la comunidad de Canindo. A partir de ese punto se hará el ascenso que tarda en promedio de 2:30 a 3 horas, a paso normal.
Finalmente, agregó que es importante que los participantes lleven gorra, ropa y zapatos cómodos para participar en la romería, además de llevar abundante agua si se considera que se ha incrementado la temperatura ambiente en la zona. La intención es proteger la integridad física de los asistentes que cada vez son más en estos eventos.
