Se esperan 4 olas en los próximos 4 meses; buscan proteger a sectores vulnerables

Autoridades de Protección Civil solicitan a la población redoblar esfuerzos ante la temporada intensa de calor que se avecina en los próximos 4 meses debido a que, de acuerdo a los pronósticos del Servicio Meteorológico Nacional, se aproximan 4 olas de calor en donde se debe proteger de los efectos de las altas temperaturas a niños y adultos mayores, principalmente.
Así lo dio a conocer Daniel Martínez Mora, coordinador municipal de protección civil, quien comentó que uno de los elementos importantes será evitar exponerse a condiciones extremas de calor como estar en horas donde el sol sale con intensidad que actualmente es de las 2 a las 5 de la tarde, en promedio, sin el cambio de horario que se daba anteriormente en México.
“Otro de los factores será promover la ingesta constante de líquidos entre la población porque ello puede ser la diferencia para evitar cuadros de deshidratación. Por ejemplo, en las escuelas o centros de trabajo debe haber ventilación para evitar que alguien pueda sufrir por alguna situación de esa naturaleza”, dijo.
Comentó que también será necesario que las personas usen bloqueador solar, sobre todo, si van a participar en actividades donde tengan que salir a caminar y usar ropa clara de manga larga para protegerse de los rayos ultravioletas, además de hacer el uso de sombrilla en el caso de ser necesario. Si hay alguna situación de emergencia, es necesario comunicarse al 911.
Finalmente, dijo que en Zamora los registros de temperatura han sido de 32 a 34 grados centígrados en promedio, pero no descartó que con el calentamiento global que se ha dado, estos se puedan elevar aún más y ello hace necesario que la población esté al pendiente para protegerse del clima.
