– Muchos salieron de sus trabajos para presenciar fenómeno natural; otros se quedaron en casa

Los zamoranos quedaron asombrados por el eclipse parcial de sol que se registró este lunes a las 12:10 del día en su punto máximo. El evento astronómico inicio desde las 10:50 de la mañana para concluir a la 1:35 de la tarde. Durante ese periodo muchas personas salieron de su trabajo, en la zona centro, para apreciar el fenómeno natural que no se volverá a repetir hasta el año 2052.
Otras personas decidieron quedarse en casa para evitar exponerse a cualquier riesgo en su visión, incluso hubo niños de escuelas públicas que al final no fueron a clases debido a que recibieron comunicados de las propias instituciones educativas en donde fueron notificados del regreso del periodo vacacional de semana santa hasta mañana para proteger la salud de los infantes.
Durante un recorrido que hizo EL INDEPENDIENTE en la plaza principal, se abordó a varias personas que se mostraron emocionadas por lo que sucedía debido a que no fueron parte del fenómeno ocurrido en 1991; otros, manifestaron tener apenas entre 6 y 7 años cuando ocurrió ese suceso en el que hubo un eclipse total de sol y que en su momento si propició una suspensión de clases.
Quienes estuvieron de espectadores en la plaza principal siguieron las indicaciones de los cuerpos de protección civil para apreciar el eclipse parcial. Para no ver directamente al sol usaron lentes especiales, vieron la sombra proyectada bajo el follaje de los árboles y usaron lentes para soldar del número 14, con la finalidad de no perderse el evento astronómico que no volverá a suscitarse hasta dentro de 28 años y que en Zamora estuvo al 80 por ciento de su totalidad.
