– Las inscripciones están abiertas para iniciar a partir de agosto; carrera cuenta con validez oficial de la SEP y Secretaría de Salud

Este lunes fue anunciada la apertura de la licenciatura en Fisioterapia en la Universidad Capital de Estudios Superiores (UCES) con el propósito de que se puedan generar profesionistas que atiendan esta necesidad de mejorar la calidad de vida de la población por medio de este servicio, si se considera que después de la pandemia de COVID 19 aumentó la incidencia de afectaciones en el estado físico de las personas.
Al respecto en rueda de prensa, Leopoldo Velasco Contreras, director del plantel Ciencias de la Salud de dicha institución, informó que cuentan con dos licencias con la opinión técnico académico favorable que la SEP y la Secretaría de Salud otorgan para impartir un programa en el área de la salud, sumado al reconocimiento de validez oficial de estudios que otorga la SEP para poder operar un programa de ese tipo, de manera que los estudios son totalmente avalados.
Comentó que, dentro del plan de estudios y mapa curricular, vienen ejes humanistas, además de todo lo que tiene que ver con área de disciplina y rehabilitación, sumado a otro que es la fisioterapia social y asignaturas enfocadas a la salud pública. Los alumnos se pueden acercar a inscribirse al plantel de Ciencias de la Salud debido a que en el siguiente cuatrimestre de agosto – septiembre, se estima que inicie la carrera. La idea es tener inscritos.
Finalmente, agregó que a lo largo de los años se ha consolidado el proyecto de Ciencias de la Salud desde 2009, por medio de las carreras de nutrición, psicología, odontología, enfermería y ahora de la carrera en fisioterapia, que permitirá brindar un complemento importante a las personas que se dedican al cuidado del estado físico de las personas, a través de la formación que recibirán los estudiantes en la institución.
En la presentación de la carrera estuvieron Paula Ayala, Regidora de Educación y Cultura; Jaime Ramírez, Director de Salud Pública; Juan Carlos Velázquez, Presidente del Patronato del CRI Promoton y María Oseguera, directora del CRI, quienes coincidieron en felicitar a la universidad y su director al poner a la disposición de los jóvenes está opción profesional en el campo de la salud.
