– Buscan garantizar integridad de peatones, conductores y estudiantes de la zona

En el marco de la conmemoración del día del peatón (que es mañana), fue intervenido con infraestructura provisional el cruce de la calle Martínez de Navarrete con Dr. Verduzco para garantizar la integridad de peatones, conductores y estudiantes que acuden a la zona. Se pretende evitar accidentes o cualquier hecho de tránsito donde alguien resulte perjudicado.
Rosendo Farfán Cazares, director de movilidad urbana, informó que durante la intervención fueron colocadas boyas, además de hacer un balizamiento sobre el arroyo vehicular, pero también sobre los machuelos para indicar la prohibición de estacionamiento en áreas que están consideradas como pasos peatonales para seguridad de los transeúntes.
“El objetivo es que la gente aprenda a respetar estas áreas, que los padres de familia cambien hábitos al llevar a sus hijos a las escuelas, porque no necesariamente se tienen que bajar afuera de los planteles educativos debido a que se obstaculiza el tránsito de vehículos. Ahora la intención es que puedan caminar unos metros para llevar a sus niños y que no pasen a altas velocidades en este punto”, explicó.
Comentó que lo anterior es parte de las políticas de la nueva movilidad que se pretende dar en el municipio para ser congruentes con la ley estatal en la materia. Se tiene por objetivo buscar que las personas incluso adopten otros medios para transportarse en estos puntos derivado del urbanismo táctico que se colocó en este cruce.
“En lo futuro en estas zonas que fueron balizadas a nivel del arroyo vehicular se tendrán que hacer más anchas las banquetas y también se tendrá que educar a las personas para que respeten los nuevos lineamientos marcados y que de esa manera se eviten conflictos en este punto como lo hemos trabajado en otros cruceros”, finalizó.
