-Con actividades han buscado incluirlos para sentirse útiles en sociedad; celebraron el Día del Abuelo

6 de cada 10 adultos mayores que participan en las actividades del DIF Zamora llegaron en condiciones de abandono por parte de sus familias. A través del departamento de trabajo social se comprobó que no contaban con la tarjeta para recibir recursos de programas porque se los había quitado su propia gente, otros dependían de la caridad de vecinos y hubo quienes tuvieron un rechazo de sus propios parientes.
Así lo dio a conocer Rocío Soto Delgado, presidenta de la institución, en el marco de la celebración del Día del Abuelo, en donde comentó que han buscado incluirlos para que se sientan útiles y no excluidos de la sociedad a través de diversas actividades de integración, música, canto, baile, elaboración de manualidades y también en pintura. Uno de los objetivos que tiene la institución es montar una exposición para el mes de diciembre.
Enfatizó que uno de los retos importantes que tiene la sociedad en la actualidad consiste en buscar diferentes opciones para responder con gratitud al esfuerzo y sacrificio que hicieron los padres de familia durante los años en donde los hijos fueron criados y desarrollados con amor, pero también con la intención de que tuvieran una calidad de vida para hacer frente a los diferentes obstáculos de vida.
Agregó que los adultos mayores son un pilar importante entre la sociedad y las propias familias y por ello es que merecen ese reconocimiento de quienes son integrantes de sus familias y no el abandono que es una realidad que se vive en la actualidad en espacios donde la gratitud no existe. En la celebración del Día del Abuelo que fue realizada en conocida quinta participaron 150 ancianos provenientes del DIF, CEDECOS y Módulos PREP.
