Araceli Saucedo Reyes, ex integrante del PRD y actual senadora electa por Michoacán, dio un giro en su carrera política al registrarse como legisladora del partido Movimiento de Regeneración Nacional (Morena). Sin embargo, su incorporación llega con una particularidad: no militará en Morena, sino que se sumará únicamente a su bancada en el Senado.
Según Red Michoacán, el movimiento de Saucedo se concretó gracias a un presunto acuerdo directo con la presidenta electa de México, Claudia Sheinbaum. Esta alianza estratégica refuerza la presencia de Morena en el Senado, para concretar el llamado “PLAN C”, mientras que Saucedo mantendría su independencia partidista, operando dentro del grupo parlamentario del partido en el poder.
Antes de contender por la senaduría, Saucedo Reyes era la alcaldesa del municipio de Salvador Escalante y ya había sido diputada local y federal, siempre con los colores del sol azteca.
En comunicado aparte, Martín García Avilés, ex dirigente estatal del PRD, subrayó que, en el Senado de la República, se pone de manifiesto la congruencia de la Senadora electa, Araceli Saucedo Reyes.
“Consideró que hoy se precisa de una izquierda que contribuya a generar el desarrollo de Michoacán y de perfiles comprometidos con la visión social de la izquierda, “nosotros estaremos respaldando la decisión de la Senadora, Araceli Saucedo de adscribirse al grupo parlamentario que mejor le convenga a Michoacán”.
Será el 1 de septiembre cuando la Senadora electa, Araceli Saucedo, tome protesta en el Senado de la República.
