– Permitirán potenciar recursos de nueva planta tratadora; en diciembre estará lista para operar

Una inversión de 200 millones de pesos (mdp) fue anunciada por el presidente municipal, Carlos Soto Delgado, para completar los trabajos que permitan culminar la nueva planta tratadora de aguas residuales. En diciembre quedará lista para operar y llevar a cabo la limpieza del 100 por ciento de las aguas residuales que se generan en el municipio.
En entrevista con El Independiente, el alcalde aseguró que el recurso se desprende de una inversión adicional que hará la Comisión Estatal de Aguas y Gestión de Cuencas (CEAC) para terminar los trabajos de la planta tratadora situada en los rumbos de Valle Dorado, la que en la actualidad presenta un 92 por ciento de avance, pero hace falta llevar a cabo la conexión de los colectores de la parte norponiente de la ciudad para completar los trabajos respectivos.
Comentó que con esta inyección de recursos se hará una suma de 740 millones de pesos que serán destinados para el proyecto en su totalidad y cuyos beneficios se verán reflejados en agua que se pueda reciclar para llevar a cabo el riego de cultivos, principalmente de granos, que se establecen en esta zona de la Entidad, además de contribuir al saneamiento integral de la cuenca del Río Duero.
Concluyó al decir que también trabajarán en un hermanamiento con el municipio de Jacona para realizar proyectos hídricos intermunicipales, de manera que se pueda potenciar el funcionamiento de la planta tratadora de dicha localidad y además se puedan fortalecer obras que puedan convenir a esta zona conurbada, de manera que se esperan resultados en próximas fechas.
