Ixtlán, Mich.- Como lo prometió el presidente municipal de Ixtlán al rendir protesta, el médico especialista para las comunidades es ya una realidad desde el jueves pasado. Este programa se suma a los esfuerzos de atención médica gratuita con los que ya cuenta el municipio.
“Gracias a la reducción de mi salario y al del Cabildo, podremos financiar el servicio del médico especialista, que atenderá especialmente a los adultos mayores del municipio”, expresó Enoc Tamayo durante su intervención en la comunidad de San Simón.
Al anunciar el programa, el edil destacó que su administración ha priorizado el buen uso del dinero público, evitando lo que llamó “lujos y despilfarros” en beneficio de presidentes anteriores. Gracias a estas medidas, el municipio ahora cuenta con médicos comunitarios disponibles las 24 horas y un laboratorio de análisis clínicos que brinda atención a más de 3,000 familias de Ixtlán y sus alrededores.
