-Atención será gratuita a las mujeres; buscan prevenir cáncer de mama

Inició una campaña gratuita de mastografías con la finalidad de prevenir cáncer de mama entre las mujeres que residen en el municipio. Para la atención fue instalado hoy un módulo en la plaza principal que brindará atención a jaconenses en horario de 9:00 de la mañana a 2:00 de la tarde y de 3:00 a 6:00 de la tarde. Mañana funcionará en la tenencia del Platanal.
Así lo dio a conocer el presidente municipal, Isidoro Mosqueda Estrada, en el marco del inicio de la jornada de prevención, en donde resaltó la importancia de que las mujeres no dejen de atenderse si se considera el desgaste físico, emocional y familiar que representa atender un padecimiento oncológico de ese tipo que es una de las principales causas de muerte entre las mujeres.
Enfatizó que el tema de la salud será una de las prioridades a trabajar durante esta administración municipal y de allí que enfocarán los esfuerzos para que se pueda mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes por medio de este tipo de actividades, de allí que trabajarán en conjunto con instituciones públicas, privadas y la regiduría de salud.
Para recibir la atención preventiva o mastografía es necesario que presenten su INE, que las mujeres acudan aseadas, evitar el uso de perfume o desodorante, además de las axilas rasuradas. El periodo de atención es rápido para que las interesadas acudan a realizar sus actividades cotidianas.
Finalmente, Francisco Ayala Flores, regidor de salud, pidió a las mujeres no desestimar la atención gratuita que se brindará en este espacio porque habrá personal calificado para que los diagnósticos sean certeros y se busca contribuir en las mejoras físicas de las mujeres de la localidad en padecimientos como el cáncer de mama.
