– Piden informarse y tomar conciencia con coloquio y feria de la salud mañana 18 de octubre

“Una mala alimentación, basada en productos procesados de alta concentración de conservadores y azúcares, puede influir en el desarrollo de cualquier tipo de cáncer en la población femenina. De allí la importancia de que cuiden lo que comen a diario para que se encuentren libres de riesgos de una enfermedad de tratamiento oncológico”, puntualizó Yolanda Corrales, nutrióloga de la jurisdicción sanitaria no. 2.
Lo anterior se desprendió del anuncio que dio personal de la dependencia estatal, en conjunto con Jaime Ramírez Oregel y Emma Bertha Mena Gómez, directores de salud pública y del Instituto Municipal de la Mujer (IMM), respectivamente, para dar a conocer la Feria de la Salud y el coloquio sobre sobre detección oportuna de cáncer de mama, cervicouterino y de ovario, cuyas activid serán efectuadas el viernes 18 de octubre en el Centro Regional de las Artes de Michoacán a partir de las 9:00 de la mañana.
La nutrióloga aseguró que son momentos en donde se debe regresar a los hábitos de consumir los productos que emergen del campo, en lo que respecta a vegetales y frutos, para buscar llevar una alimentación balanceada que va a propiciar el hecho de que los riesgos de desarrollar células cancerígenas sean menores y en consecuencia no haya afectaciones físicas de consideración.
Por su parte, Ramírez Oregel informó que en la actualidad el cáncer en mujeres va en ascenso por la falta de hábitos saludables y las condiciones climatológicas a las que se expone la población en el municipio. De allí la importancia de seguir con ese tipo de campañas preventivas en donde han hecho hincapié entre la población sobre la importancia de auto explorarse y no dejar en la indecisión el hecho de acudir al médico a revisión.
Finalmente, la directora del IMM, subrayó que las mujeres de Zamora no deben desaprovechar este tipo de campañas que se organizan y exhortó a la población femenina para que acuda a este tipo de espacios en los que recibirán información importante que ayudará para que tengan una mejor calidad de vida y además puedan tener atención en salud mental, bucal, métodos anticonceptivos, enfermedades de transmisión sexual; vacunas contra la influenza, hepatitis “B” y tétanos y detecciones de hipertensión, azúcar en la sangre y colesterol.
