– Será realizada del 31 de octubre al 03 de noviembre; esperan 20 mil visitantes diarios

Del 31 de octubre al 03 de noviembre será realizada la Noche de Muertos Zamora 2024 denominada “El origen de nuestras raíces” con la que se proyecta recibir un promedio de 20 mil visitantes diarios en los festejos que permitirán fortalecer la economía del municipio, pero también potenciar la actividad turística porque se espera una derrama de recursos por el orden de los 20 millones de pesos y una ocupación hotelera del 100 por ciento.
“De esta manera, queremos que la magia y el respeto, pero también el recuerdo por los difuntos sean las bases principales para que Zamora se mantenga en segundo lugar con esa zona occidente de Michoacán, por debajo de la zona lacustre. En 3 años de la administración anterior se tuvo una derrama económica superior a los 85 millones de pesos, vamos por generar los mismos resultados”, puntualizó el presidente municipal, Carlos Soto Delgado, en el marco de una rueda de prensa para presentar el evento.
Comentó que la inauguración será el día 01 de noviembre en la plaza principal, en donde se colocará un altar mayor en la parte del kiosco, además de un panteón en la parte norte del centro de la ciudad y también altares en donde participarán diferentes universidades del municipio. También se ocupará la calle Cazarez en donde se colocará el puente al Mictlán como parte de la tradición de esta festividad para quienes no puedan ir a Pátzcuaro y Tzintzuntzan.
“El esfuerzo nos ha permitido obtener 3 de 4 premios red latinos y esto nos ha permitido estar nominados a otros 8 más. Vienen eventos culturales para finales de año y en esta ocasión consideramos que llegarán más visitantes para fortalecer la actividad turística que nos ha permitido generar recursos para el municipio en diferentes eventualidades”, dijo.
Agregó que en 2021 hubo más de 40 mil visitantes, sin un registro económico establecido al ser la primera actividad de Día de Muertos; en 2022 se registraron más de 65 mil visitantes que dejaron una derrama económica de 11 millones de pesos y un 70 por ciento de ocupación hotelera; 2023 se generaron más de 16 millones de pesos derivados de una asistencia de más de 80 mil personas y una ocupación hotelera de 100 por ciento.
Finalmente, Cuauhtémoc Ventura Orozco, director de turismo, comentó que “El origen de nuestras raíces” se remontará al inicio de estas tradiciones, porque se tiene la intención de levantar la mano en la parte del turismo para tener una mayor derrama económica y aseguró que las personas podrán tener a su alcance diferentes actividades en distintos espacios del municipio.
