– Paulina Araceli Ángeles Cruz recibió premio Luis González y González 2024

Este miércoles 23 de octubre fue inaugurada la edición número XLV del coloquio de Antropología e Historia “Educación, Nacionalismos y Desigualdad Social en México, en donde se apostará porque haya una reflexión importante en esta temática que es uno de los puntos relevantes para la construcción de una sociedad equitativa. En ese tenor se entregó el premio Luis González y González 2024 que fue para Paulina Araceli Ángeles Cruz.
Igualmente, Eduardo Santiago Nabor, representante del Comité de Coordinadores del Premio Nacional Luis González y González, edición 2024, aseguró que el premio fue entregado porque el trabajo de la ganadora fue la mejor tesis en el área de ciencias sociales. Se revisaron alrededor de 18 trabajos en una plataforma en donde participaron 12 miembros del jurado. También se hizo una mención honorífica a Magaly Alcántara Ramírez por la tesis “Mujeres, Cristianismo y Revolución”.
“Este premio no sería sin la esencia que son trabajos debidamente investigados; sin embargo, se observa que la elaboración de tesis, como medio de titulación, en las universidades ha disminuido en los últimos años porque se han propuesto otras opciones para llevar a cabo este proceso. Esperemos que este espacio sirva como inspiración para que no se deje de realizar esta práctica entre las personas”, dijo.
Por su parte, Luis Alberto Arrioja Díaz Viruell, presidente del COLMICH, enfatizó que el estudio de la desigualdad ha sido una constante porque es una realidad que se puede traducir en varias formas porque se han publicado diversas obras literarias al respecto y mencionó que todavía es un flagelo para la sociedad, de manera que la relación que hay entre este problema y la educación puede tener consecuencias económicas y laborales.
“Michoacán presenta un porcentaje en lo que respecta a deserción en educación superior como consecuencia de la desigualdad social y por ello es que queremos abordar esta temática con la seriedad debida, pero que también se comprendan las causas que originan esta problemática porque es una realidad que se debe trabajar para atender esta situación”, dijo.
Carlos Soto Delgado, presidente municipal, invitó a los participantes a aprovechar las mesas de trabajo, ponencias y demás actividades que se realizarán durante el evento con la finalidad de que se pueda reflexionar sobre estas problemáticas sociales, al tiempo de felicitar al Colegio de Michoacán por ser un referente de Zamora debido al trabajo importante que realizan en materia de investigación.
Finalmente, Gabriela Molina Aguilar, Secretaria de Educación en el Estado, mencionó que la educación, cultura e investigación, es parte de la agenda central en la Entidad y de allí que reiteró el respaldo del Gobierno Estatal con el COLMICH y anunció la creación de la editorial la Cuarta República, para que se puedan hacer publicaciones de investigaciones realizadas por la institución y se promueva la lectura entre los jóvenes.
